Donna LeBrun
Landscape Designer · Owner of City Seed at the Station
Designing for Upstate South Carolina
Donna graduated from the University of Florida in 2004 with a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture. She began her career with Halback Design Group in St. Augustine and Basham & Lucas Design Group in Jacksonville, working on residential and large-scale neighborhood projects—entry features, amenity centers, model homes, and community common spaces. In 2007, she established LeBrun Designs, Inc. to focus on residential and small commercial properties while raising her growing family.
Donna and her family moved to Anderson, South Carolina in 2012, where she continued to build her design presence in the Upstate. A side service she began years earlier—her beloved Potted Gardens—grew into a defining part of her work and eventually helped inspire the creation of City Seed at the Station, a plant-focused retail shop known for its curated greenery, seasonal workshops, kids programming, and vibrant community feel.
Donna LOVES plants and especially loves teaching others—adults and children alike—how to connect with them. She has enjoyed speaking at numerous Upstate garden clubs, sharing her enthusiasm for houseplants, outdoor design, and creative ways to bring more green into everyday life.
Today, Donna divides her time between landscape design through LeBrun Designs and running City Seed at the Station, where her creativity, teaching spirit, and love of community all come together.
