Starting Seeds: Adult Mini Make n’ Take — Saturday, February 21
Starting Seeds: Adult Mini Make n’ Take — Saturday, February 21
It’s time to start thinking about seeds — and this session is designed to help you do just that, without feeling overwhelmed.
Join us for a relaxed Saturday morning focused on when and how to start seeds indoors, what’s too early vs. just right for our area (Zone 8a), and how to set yourself up for success this growing season.
This is a Mini Make n’ Take — a teaser-style class rather than our traditional, larger seed-starting workshops.
Each participant will go home with:
• One 4-pack seed tray, planted during class
• Seed combination options (based on availability):
– 2 tomato plants + 2 sunflowers
OR
– 2 sweet peppers + 2 marigolds
We’ll also talk through companion planting basics and simple seed-starting setups you can manage at home.
☕ Petrichor Coffee will be on-site from 8:30 AM–12:00 PM if you’d like to grab a cup before or after the session.
Important Notes:
• Class is for adults (18+)
• Registration required (including for planning seating and supplies)
• Space is limited to 22 participants
• This is an educational session with a small take-home item — not a full tray workshop
