It's Fall Ya'll - Let's Make n' Take a Fall Outdoor Potted Garden (Saturday, September 26th)
Let’s enjoy the cooler weather (and the end of the SUMMER heat) by grabbing a seat at our latest Make n’ Take at the Station. This Make n’ Take will be held on Saturday, September 26th from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. We are excited to re-start our Make n’ Takes at the Station as this will be the first one since mid-March. We welcome you OUTSIDE the Station for this Fall Potted Garden Make n’ Take using our outdoor plants! We continue to strive to create a safe atmosphere for our Anderson Community and have decided on the following protocols for group activities.
CLASS SETUP during Covid-19:
all classes will be held outside under awning
EIGHT participants,
EACH participant will be placed 6’ APART (if in same HOUSEhold, may share table)
MASKS are REQUIRED, no exceptions
we will not be providing hor d’oerves as we have in the past, we’ve had to adjust this not only for Covid-19 reasons but to keep the class fee low, due to the decrease in participants.
CLASS OPTIONS:
ONE POTTED GARDEN: $30 includes soil, moss and a $6 OUTSIDE plant allowance. Bring your own container or choose one from the Station.
UNLIMITED POTTED GARDENS: $55 includes unlimited soil, moss and an $18 OUTSIDE plant allowance (best for multiple containers! This option is perfect for anyone who wants to get their porch in the Fall spirit or wanting to show appreciation to your child’s teacher with a hand-created Potted Garden.
All other items used will be sold a la carte. The planters are not included in the class fee, but can be purchased at the Station. We will have a variety of planters to fit your style and budget!
Plants: Depending on the size of your container, you may opt to plant ONE plant or plant in odd numbers. Outdoor plants range from $3.50 (3.5” pot) to 8” Mums for $8. We’ll have many more options available in both shade and sun conditions.
Other decorations (fairy garden supplies, ribbon, etc) are available to purchase and recommended for covered porch use, not out in the elements.
